Hello! My name is Tori aka KilllerKween.
I figured with the start of the new year I’d go after a dream of mine and start the blog I’ve been talking about for a couple of years now but have been too scared/lazy af to go for. It’s funny how fear and sheer laziness can make you put something off that has been on your radar for quite some time. I guess it’s never too late to try! I figured I’d type my posts the way I talk so people can get a better idea of who I am. So if they’re not super grammatically correct or the flow is strange, I apologize. I’m definitely not a professional writer. I guess I will just launch right into it! I am a hairstylist from middle Tennessee (Nashville area). I have lived here my entire life. I absolutely love living in the south and I’m so happy that it is beginning to change in the best way. It’s not been the easiest to be here, especially being from a slightly small southern town, and be “different.” By “different” I mean I have an ever changing hair color
I’ve collected quite a few tattoos and my style can be edgy, quirky and a little eccentric.
Middle Tennessee is growing so much and with that brings more unique types of people. Which is great for me because being stared at for having pink hair and a sleeve isn’t exactly the most fun I’ve ever had. Lol.
I love makeup and hair! Actually, love is an understatement. I am obsessed. I wish I could say that I practice self control when it comes to beauty products but that would be a lie. I love learning new ways to do my hair and makeup and new products out there. Which is one of the reasons I wanted to start doing this. So I can buy more things and have an excuse! 😀
A lot has changed for me last year. I went from living by myself to moving in with the love of my life, then we were married this past September at Arrington Vineyards outside of Nashville.
To say that day was perfect is an understatement. I’m so blessed to have him. And one exciting thing about him is that he loves my forever changing hair color, tattoos (he has quite a few as well) and my style.
My hope for this blog is to have a place for a creative outlet, maybe share some beauty tips and tricks, and inspire anyone to be who they are. I hope to bring an honest, positive and exciting look into my world and the things I love. Thank you so much for taking the time to read a little bit more about me and hopefully this will be a fun, exciting and not super awkward journey. (Anyone who knows me, knows that I can definitely deliver the awkward. Haha) Thank you again. Xoxo, BBs.-KK
